Abstract
Colombia is going through a special historic moment since September 26th, 2016, when was official the signing of the peace agreement with perhaps one of the oldest guerrillas in the world, the so-called Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, Farc. In this accelerated process to validate what was discussed in Habana, Cuba, for a long period of time the media, the government and some non-governmental entities implemented strategies to publish the agreements in all possible ways: text, audio, video, booklets, special reports, multimedia and infographics. This is how the value of the image was recovered, especially its characteristic of synthesis that facilitates information interpretation and promotes citizenship formation, as well as it demonstrates the great pedagogical and documentary nature of infographics and data visualization in the information coverage of perhaps the most critical topic of the Colombian media agenda. The intention of this paper is to analyze the narrative forms and the multiple discourses used, as well as the use of digital tools, printed, audiovisual and digital infographic presentations, as well as data visualizations, georeferences and timelines that will inform society about the scope of what was being agreed, and that without being reductionist or reducing its value, facilitated the essential understanding of a broad and extensive document such as peace agreements.
