Abstract
The buildings constructed during the beginning of the 21st century in Medellín, had striking and novel designs and structures; some have preserved their designs and creation intention, while others began to collapse or presented serious breakdowns, the situation that has generated distrust in the civil engineers and in the architects who executed them and in the community who make use of these proposals. Thus, the concern arises to investigate the relationship between knowledge management, learning and the knowledge of professionals in architecture. In order to fulfill the objective, a quantitative probabilistic simple random investigation was carried out with a questionnaire structured to 321 architecture professionals, in the city of Medellín. A descriptive statistical analysis was performed. The study shows that there is a positive correlation of 0.688 between knowledge management and the knowledge of architects. It can be concluded that learning is achieved by experience and dialogue with colleagues.
