Abstract

The global discourse on environmental preservation and the urgent need to develop fair, equitable, and sustainable development models has gained significant momentum. Within this context, the transportation sector
is increasingly recognized as a focus for initiatives aimed at mitigating the adverse impacts associated with
fossil fuel use, including the adoption of electromobility. Colombia has demonstrated a political commitment
to the electrification of public transportation, which has facilitated the development of pilot projects involving
electric buses, taxis, and trucks
