Modification of the exchange of energy in BSO at equal optimized coupling constant

    Abstract

    The ways to modify the exchange of energy in a photorefractive crystal at equal optimized coupling constant were discussed. A model for four-wave interaction using the linearized theory based on Kukhtraev's equation was considered. It was shown that the optimized grating continuously gave rise to power transfer for a great range in the values of the external field and period grating.
