Abstract
The purpose of this article is to expose how the use of mediation is convenient to resolve conflicts between producers and consumers in electronic commerce, especially in the post-pandemic era, where it is essential to investigate the implications of the relationship between virtual reality and alternative conflict resolution mechanisms, particularly mediation, and the legal development of the phenomenon in Colombian law. It also sheds light on an approach to how mediation has become an alternative to the inevitable status quo in the world as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and how it can be adapted to new IT tools in order to provide a response. to the specific needs of virtual reality and electronic contracting; The advantages and disadvantages of the use of virtual mediation are analyzed as well
