    Abstract

O'Donoghue's triad is an injury that affects multiple structures of the anteromedial compartment of the knee. It is commonly observed in football players, who are the focus of this study. The triad involves various injury mechanisms that can lead to different degrees of severity. These injuries typically do not result from direct trauma, but rather from sudden changes in direction. To identify the specific injury and provide an accurate diagnosis in the athlete, clinical examination maneuvers will be performed, along with X-rays and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Treatment will focus on bone marrow aspirate
injections, physical therapy, and surgery. It is important to note that the best approach is injury prevention, considering the long-term consequences and sequelae that may follow.
