    Abstract

According to the IBIA TBI is the leading cause of seizures, death, and disability acquired worldwide. The main causes are falls in the elderly of 65 years and road traffic in minors. Hematomas pos-TEC are a very frequent complication whose manifestations are variable, especially in the subdural, presented from headache to demented syndromes or focal neurological deficits, within which the report of cases with visual manifestations is not usual. This article reports a case of visual impairment by neurologic deficit pos-TEC complicated with sub chronic bilateral subdural hematomas parieto-occipital, and revises the neuro visual functional anatomy involved in it.
