    Resumen

The aim of this article is to provide a comprehensive review of specialized literature that includes models concerned with production scheduling focused on production and energy efficiency; seeking to determine the progress that has been achieved in recent years in these areas. They are rated in accordance with the field that they addressed; either, production efficiency, energy, or the inclusion of both as an essential part in the search for the optimization of scheduling production in the industrial sector. Following this, an analysis of the most relevant variables will be carried out, with the aim of framing what will be the definition or improvement of a production scheduling model with optimization of production and energy efficiency.
