Resumen
As the Language-as-Victory (LaV) Project's initial stages come to a close, #TeamLaV wonders what's next. This chapter speculatively addresses this question by exploring LaV Framework themes and scenarios. This chapter combines recent literacy studies with an attempt to define transcendence, drawing on the multiverse discussions in Chapter 11. We then develop principles to visualize a transcendent LaV Framework approach to gaming. The idea that gaming reflects human nature—our struggles, identities, and aspirations—is central to this discussion. The chapter promotes literacy principles in gaming studies, dismantles biases, cultivates authentic knowledge, and recognizes gaming as a global phenomenon through a transcendent lens. Following the LaV Gamification Initiative in Chapter 13, this conceptual discussion outlines LaV Beyond, the second spin-off of the LaV Project. This chapter also allows #TeamLaV's newcomers to envision the LaV Project in the future. These young researchers urge #TeamLaV to explore digital, social, and AI-driven spaces. However, they encourage us to uphold #TeamLaV's values of empathy, professionalism, and continuous growth. This chapter serves as a manifesto for LaV Beyond, launching interdisciplinary research and community-building initiatives that leverage the transformative power of language and gaming.
