    Resumen

    Absorption capacities have been investigated in recent years in various areas of knowledge and from different approaches and different levels of complexity within the organizational phenomenon. Article absorption capacities (ACAP), are understood as dynamic capabilities, "formed by two threads acquisition and assimilation of new knowledge from abroad and absorption capacities made, made by two other threads, transformation and exploitation of knowledge acquired and assimilated ", Zahra and George (2002, p 189). The aim of the article is to identify the different perspectives of study, most prolific countries in production of goods and the areas where we have studied the ACAP. Methodologically systematic literature review, which identified which countries have made further research on the absorption capacities and what are the sectors in which most researched in the world were were followed. The results allow conclusions and highlight the small number of countries in the world have advanced some research on ACAP and their findings have been published in some of the ISI journals, note that 70% of countries have investigated ACAP empirical studies have been conducted on field testing and further found that Germany, the United States and Spain are the countries of the world that have a wider range of areas which have developed research projects on the absorption capacities.
