Resumen
Cow's milk protein is considered to be the main food allergen in infants. Eosinophilic colitis due to allergy to the milk protein is benign; it also occurs in exclusively breastfed infants and a significant number of these patients are undiagnosed or remain unreported. Failure to search for and to suspect of this condition will contribute to high morbidity rate and to health resource consumption in the affected age group. This is the report of two cases and on literature review where the presentation of this entity is made known in our conditions and the constant need of considering its diagnosis is underlined, all of which will allow to make active search and to have a long term impact.
