N2 - It is presented the design of a tool conceived to facilitate the learning of modulating and demodulating techniques in analog communication systems using digital signal processing algorithms. The proposed modular system includes: a software application that runs on a PC and allows the diagramming, configuration, simulation, and monitoring of the practice to be done, and the election of generators and measurement instruments. A hardware platform based on a set of DSPs that implement the practice; and a communication system that allows the interaction among the DSPs, the PC, real instruments, and a remote PC through Internet.
