Dinámica de las exportaciones intrarregionales del sector metalmecánico de Colombia hacia los países de la Alianza Pacífico en el período 2013-2017

This article demonstrates the application of the formulas created by ECLAC to measure the position and the commercial dynamism of Colombian exports of the metallurgical sector between the period 2013- 2017 in order to analyze the development of the sector subsequent to the entry of the Pacific Alliance as strategic of intraregional trade to generate global value chains that allow the competitiveness of products in Asian markets. To do this, you determine which products (tariff per chapter) have greater intensity of export and commercial market, in addition to which the comparative advantages by country and the importation of a product exported to a destination country measured with the Balassa index.
