Resumen
The experience at the University of the Pontificia Bolivariana allowed me to reflect on teaching and research in Colombia concerning the Representation discipline. The main considerations are motivated by the inevitable comparison with the educational models of the Italian architecture schools. The absence of the specific course in Architectural Survey is evident because of the incremented interest in the architectural heritage. It has been shown a progressive increase of the laboratories for the study of Heritage in the Architecture Faculties. In particular, the UPB has inaugurated optional educational modules of “Levantamiento” with a good response in terms of participation and results achieved. To support the development of pedagogical models concerning the Drawing disciplines, a series of seminars on Architectural Heritage Survey was inaugurated in 2017. In addition to these seminars of new optional modules, further strategies are being configured with which to involve local contributors to draw up a programme of high-impact measures and to respond more to the training of young Colombian architects.
