Resumen
This paper presents a current overview of distributed generation in the country through an inventory built from secondary sources of information. Information from 477 projects was found, for a total installed capacity of 1652.83 MW which were classified according to Colombian policies, energy sources and a range that allowed understanding the market dynamics and trends. Additionally, a comparison with the Mining and Energy Planning Unit (UPME for its abbreviation in Spanish) baseline for industrial, commercial and public sectors was comprehended.
