This paper presents a reflection about feminine subjectivity and love as depicted in the poetry collection Todos los amantes son guerreros from Piedad Bonnett. This article emerges based on the theorical frameworks of two Hispanic-American feminist stands; El pensamiento amoroso from Mary Luz Esteban and Los cautiverios de la mujer of Marcela Lagarde. In this conversation, love appears as the main axis of feminine subjectivity, for socialization processes educate women as love beings and determine how to incarnate this affection, resulting in the formation of a love experience that transforms itself into a form of captivity.
