Resumen
Fluid mechanics is the area of physics that mathematically describes the behavior of fluids at rest (fluid statics) or in motion (fluid dynamics) and the subsequent effects of the fluid upon its boundaries, which may be either solid surfaces or interfaces with other fluids. From the point of view of fluid mechanics, all matter consists of only two states: fluid and solid. The difference lies in the reaction of the two to an applied shear or tangential stress.
