Resumen
The establishment and maintenance of breastfeeding requires educational accompaniment of mothers by health personnel. This study explores the methods and educational means used by digital interventions to reach populations with difficulties in accessing health services. Available publications on the use of Information and Communication Technologies between 2015 and 2020 were analyzed as a strategy to support mothers and families in the establishment and maintenance of breastfeeding. A descriptive study was conducted, based on a systematic review and analysis, through the application of PRISMA guidelines. Original studies with digital health interventions in breastfeeding, present in multiple bibliographic sources, were included and analyzed, taking into account the World Health Organization's Classification of digital interventions. Seventeen articles were identified; 70.58% classified in the "Patients" category; 23.53% in the "Health providers" category and 5.88% in the "Data services" category; no article was included in the "Health system administrators" category. Most of the digital interventions to accompany the establishment and maintenance of breastfeeding focus on pregnant and lactating mothers with unfavorable social and geographic characteristics. In general, successful results are observed in terms of end-user satisfaction.
