This article presents the research on teaching practices and teaching resources used in ELE classes. It was carried out by researchers from the Santo Tomás University of Bogotá and the Pontificia Bolivariana of Medellín This study is qualitative in a descriptive / ethnographic way and was developed as follows: selection and analysis of the teaching resources in ELE, application of the instruments and the hermeneutical triangulation of the information. The results of the study are derived in three categories: Pedagogical practices, the use of didactic resources and the inclusion of the cultural component.
