N2 - Transitioning to sustainable energy systems has increased demand for efficient and reliable hydrogen transportation infrastructure. Extensive natural gas pipeline networks can be adapted to transport hydrogen-natural gas mixtures (H2NG), allowing cleaner energy distribution. Ensuring these pipelines' integrity prevents leaks, maintains safety, and supports energy sustainability. This work presents a comprehensive mechanical design methodology for a Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) inspection tool for pipelines and a mechanical design case study
