Resumen
The objective of this study was to identify the perception that faculty members and students from a School of Medicine in Medellín have regarding the hybrid learning model. Specifically, a descriptive observational study was conducted using a non-probabilistic consecutive case sampling method to include as many participants as possible. The data collected were analyzed using the Jamovi sof-tware; qualitative variables were described through relative frequencies and absolute values, while quantitative variables were summarized using means and standard deviations. A total of 312 students and 16 faculty members participated in the study. Among the students, the average age was 20 years, with females representing 73.3% of the group. In the faculty group, the mean age was 44 years, and 68.7% were women. Regarding the perception of the hybrid model, 85% of students reported preferring face-to-face classes, compared to 15% who favored the hybrid mo-dality. Among faculty members, 56.2% expressed a preference for in-person teaching, while 43.7% favored the hybrid model.
