Resumen
The informal caregivers play a key role in the care of Alzheimer disease people. The target of this study has been the analyse of the existing relationship between several demographical variables, the anxiety and the social support in the perception of the burden suffered by caregivers. The study has been made in 9 men and 37 women between 25 and 75 years old, with an average age of 51,5 and a standard deviation of 13,56, from different school levels and labour situations. The elements used have been the Katz index, the STAI, the poll from social support received and the personal interview with the caregiver. The results indicate that the caregivers who suffered much more burden were young men, with a high school level, who work outside home, bachelors, with no children, and a very high levels of state anxiety and trait anxiety and with not very much social support. The 77% from the burden from the varianza is explained by the set of variables.
